It's time to enroll for next school year. It's a little more complicated this year as you get priority at our new schools, if you fill out the Transition Survey that's been emailed to you. Read our Transition Resources page for more information on the enrollment process, workshop dates at SVE to help you complete enrollment, and tour dates at our new schools.

Subscribe to the PTA newsletter for timely updates once in a while. Goes out mid-week whenever there's news that won't fit in the principal's newsletter.

Volunteer on Campus!

We have lots of volunteer opportunities, from being a Room Parent to helping in the school gardens. We especially need lunch monitors, front office assistants, and PE assistants year round!

January Work Room/Library Helpers // Ayudantes de sala de traba

Come at your convienence on a Wednesday or Thursday to help make copies/laminate. There is a blue box in the teacher work room where teacher copy requests will be placed. When you are finished or if there is not much work, please check in with Ms. Meza in the library to shelve books (only when she does not have a class) Venga a su conveniencia un miércoles o jueves para ayudar a hacer copias/plastificar. Hay una caja azul en la sala de trabajo del profesorado donde se depositarán las solicitudes de copias.Cuando termine o si no tiene mucho trabajo, por favor, comuníquese con la Sra. Who we are 

The Sunset Valley Elementary PTA focuses on strengthening parent involvement, supporting our teachers, and enhancing academics, including our cherished dual-language program. To accomplish these goals, we sponsor events and programs throughout the year. This includes fundraisers like our annual Cheetah Fest, dances, parent meetups, and academic programs like Math Pentathlon and the Spelling Bee. And we give grants for our teachers for classroom equipment, field trips and technology instruction.

JOIN the PTA Board

The PTA Board still has space for you! We're looking for a Cheetah Fest chair, Fundraising chair and additional parents to grow Math Pentathlon. Email president@sve-pta.org if you are interested in learning more. All Board members are asked to attend our monthly board meetings which occur on the second Thursday of each month. Come get involved with a great group of parents and make a difference at the school!
